Halima is a girl who lives in the Land of the Sun with her mother. But one day it stops raining in the Land of Sun. Halima decides to do something about it. So she embarks on a long and dangerous journey…

Halimas resa is a musical fairytale that is inspired and based of Syrian folktales and it is about a refugee child's journey from her home country to her destination country.

Halimas resa is written by Nikos Kalaitzidis.

Eastern Bias has composed and recorded all of the music for the story.

Anne Kalmering is the narrator for the Swedish translation, originally by Foteini Venetsanos.

Eastern Bias consists of: Moa Danielsson, Soroor Notash, Eleftherios Moutsinas, Shekufeh Pariab, Olympia Tavlaridou.

The Journey of Halima is also available as a narrative performance.
